Well, yes, it's definitely hoppy. I actually found it to be nicely balanced though and pretty easy to drink. Very tastey.

I'm torn with this rating. The beer isn't really what I expected. I was thinking I'd be overwhelmed with hops which really wasn't the case at all. It had a strong hop aroma. Even the initial taste makes you think your palate is going to be destroyed with hops, but it quickly subsides into a sweet, smooth finish. You would never guess this is a 10% beer. It's extremely easy drinking for a Double IPA.

The Little Richard of beer -- deep, suave and fruity.... makes me want to stand up and shout GOOD GOLLY MISS MOLLY.... This baby's got it all going on: high lush citrus notes perched atop a nest of grapefruit and pine oil splashed with pineapple honey. Wow, kudos to the mad scientist that dreamed this up. Is it good? Does it deliver? Is Little Richard pretty? HELL YES!

The honey is fresh be out of the comb himself. The hops be as green as my neibors lawn. A good malt liquor.

One of my all time favorites. Only available two months a year so if you like your hops, and see Hopslam on the shelf, you had better grab some while its there.

Fragrant and knock you down tasty. Nice citrus aroma and like the bottle says: A biting, bitter, tongue bruiser of an ale. If you like a hoppy brew, you must add this to your list.
